Privacy Policy
This Policy explains, in plain language, how ShardSky handles your personal data when you use this website.
1. Who runs this website
This website is run by ShardSky. It is a company website about our services, with no accounts, online forms or payments.
2. What we collect
Information you send us: your name, company, contact details and message when you email contact@shardsky.com. Please do not send passwords, keys or other sensitive information.
Technical logs: details such as your IP address, time of visit, browser type and pages viewed, recorded automatically by our hosting provider to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
Anonymous visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see overall traffic. It uses no cookies and does not track you across websites.
3. How we use it
Only to reply to your enquiries, communicate with you and provide the services you ask for, and to keep the website running and secure. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only when needed with service providers that work for us, such as Cloudflare for hosting, security and email forwarding. Their networks are global, so your data may be processed outside Singapore. Otherwise, we disclose it only when the law requires.
5. Local storage
This site sets no tracking cookies. When you switch between Chinese and English, it remembers your choice (“lang”) only in your browser’s local storage. It is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies during security checks; they are not used for advertising or tracking.
6. Your rights
You can email contact@shardsky.com at any time to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to withdraw consent you have given. To protect your data, we may first need to confirm your identity.
7. Governing law
We handle personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
8. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time and will post the new version and date on this page. This Policy takes effect on 5 October 2026. If the Chinese and English versions differ, the Chinese version prevails.
